There are only 4 Swedish vineyards, because grapes are really difficult to grow in commercial quantities in Sweden – the climate is too harsh, even in the south.
India has making wine for many centuries, but I’ve never seen any in my local shops, so I don’t know what it is like.
England has over 350 vineyards produing both white and red wines, mostly using the north Europe grape varieties, such as Muller-Thurgau etc. The quality is good enough to beat French wines in blind tasting.
