Is it too soon for an accurate positive pregnancy test?

Had sex on the 2nd (my most “fertile day”). Had the blood test on the 7th. Would i get an accurate reading from the blood test or was it too soon?

  • Even blood tests at the doctor can not tell you whether or not you’re pregnant until 6-8 days after you ovulate.

I know its hard but try and wait!

  • Yes this was tool soon, if you had sex on the 2nd then the better that you were supposed to check was 14 days after the date mentioned which was to be 2 + 14 = 16 day. this is the earliest that you can test and you will be able to get the correct results without fail.

  • It may be too soon. Usually implantation takes place 5 days after the egg has been fertilized. So, depending if you egg was fertilized and if implantation took place will determine if the test will come back positive/negative. GL!

  • Probably not that soon! It’s got to be after your missed period, or a few days at most prior.
