Someone once said this to me..?

Do you know what this means or does it make sense to you?

Your shadow doesn’t matter. Look at the mirror, it matters. Anyhow, anyway only look at things your way not how people describe them. It’s not the cause, it’s the effect.

  • Ones shadow is merely a dark outline with no features visible. One looks in a mirror and gets a true reflection of ones features, including flaws and attributes….what one really does look like! When looking in the mirror, look at your attributes rather than any self perceived flaws! Regardless of what another describes to you, you see for yourself in the mirror the good things about your features. Promote your attributes and their effect on others rather than any perceived flaws that you may use as the “cause”.
Yes, it does make sense! I would consider it a compliment from the one who said it to you! EVERYONE has features that are appealing to others and those who look for only flaws are simply jealous and looking for a reason to downgrade another.
