So I’m 19, just recently got kicked out of the nest. I’m staying with a buddy for now and I can’t find a job close enough to walk/ride a bike, or take a bus. I haven’t worked on a payroll for over 6 months and was wondering if the unemployment office has anything that could be beneficial for me. Because of my situation I want to make sure I take advantage of anything that is offered, so if you know of anything else please post

No wonder you’re unemployed. You’re lazy. Go there and see what jobs are available.
Try finding work at a temporary staffing agency or call 211 and get a list of agencies that may be able to assist u.
You do like all other 19, 20, 21 years old in that situation…… start over. Happens to forty years old too.

You need to find a new place to live if there no transportation. If push come to shove there always the military (for now until the cuts)
You could always start a mini business. Selling lemonade at 10 is a lemonade stand, selling lemonade at 19 is PROFIT. I don’t mean that literally, but you know what I mean.
send out as many resumes as possible, surely there is work you can do, it may not be fun but atleast it pays.
