    1)so yes dust particals do scatter x rays

    in fact any thing of radius of order wavelength/4 (approx) of radiation scatters it

    it is totally different from dispersion as dispersion is scattering of white light in many colours while scattering is just bending f any light about a particle of size of order of its own wavelength or lesser
