2000 Yamaha vstar electrical problem. Just makes a clicking sound. New battery, new starter relay, starter ok?

I took the starter to auto zone and it works. The clicking sound is rapid and strong.

  • Damaged/corroded ground wire not letting full amps reach the starter.

  • Battery still faulty or not fully charged from new!
    Faulty solenoid – short it
