How can I increase my website traffic?

I just open a new store online ultrahid.com and need traffic in my site. I tried the google ads but my ad was not approve for some reason. I put my site on the main search engines. but looking for other tips to increase it.

  • Site looks pretty good. Add a wordpress blog to it and start writing. If you can add the blog on the same hosting as the site in a sub directory like ultrahid.com/blog/ Better for SEO

    Start a twitter page and facebook fan page and then invite some of your friends to it. Also look into doing a video to showcase a product and post it on youtube. In the youtube description add your link. Make sure to use http:// so it’s an actual link and not just text. Then write a blog article about it on your site and post it to facebook and twitter.

    Make sure you have a working xml sitemap and submit it in google and bing webmaster tools. Get google analytics on the site and track whats going on. Stay away from the paid ads until you really get a handle on all the SEO practices. search around for some white hat seo tips and more tips on link building which is key to getting you ranked better. Look at blackhat seo practices and make sure your not doing any of them.

    Nice site, but I can see why Google rejected your ad, you don’t appear to have a privacy policy on your website.

    There are any number of ways to get traffic to your website, but looking at your site I would suggest submitting some articles to article directories, commenting in relevant car forums and social networking (maybe start a fan page on Facebook).

  • While your site is still new, google will not help you out a lot. Your page rank is probably non existent to google. Without good page rank, your hard to find in google search results. You need to promote your site elsewhere. Twitter, face book, Digg, Delicious, stumble upon, etc. Also, to help increase page rank in the mean time, try building links and back links. Read the wiki articles on those, to gain a better understanding.
    Social media marketing is the best first step a new site can take to promote your website. Page rank will happen over time. Patience is the key. I found two sites that helped alot also:
