How Decomposer, heterotroph, carnivore are related?

All are living things consuming and using energy that originally came from the Sun through plants using minerals that were once part of the stars.

Heterotrophs may eat plants(if they are first level heterotrophs) or otber heterotrophs…. Which may be eaten by carnivores or vice versa…. When they die… They get broken down into simple particles by decomposers
