How long is too long to wait for someone to text you? Like, for the other person to start the conversation. How long do you wait before you text them first?

Hard to say-it depends on the situation. Do you know what they are doing already? Did they tell you they were gonna be busy for awhile? If you for instance just said Hi whats up? And they do not respond like within the hour, then do not text them again until they reply
I know exactly what you mean.. When that person seems to take forever to text you, or just will never send the first text.
I try to give it at least a day.
there are no rules. just don’t be annoying and have your own life. simple.
