Will I be getting a 2nd Refund Check from my college?

Ok.

So I’m looking at my Financial Aid which I loaned from the school and it got broken up into two separate half’s one for Subsidize $ and Unsubsidized $.

The first subsidized and unsubsidized has a expected date of disbursement for Feb st which I got weeks ago. The second set of subsidized and unsubsidized says Mar st . I have been confused because I looked it up on the internet and everywhere says I get one refund check per semester but my account says there is another disbursement set for Mar st . I had a overage appear again on my account after the second half of spring semester started before the st last week. So should I expect a second disbursement coming to my house in a week?

Schools themselves decide how to distribute financial aid refunds. It’s true that most schools issue one refund check per semester. However, some schools do break up the disbursements into two parts. If your account says that you’ll be getting another disbursement then you probably will. If you have questions about your school’s specific financial aid policies then you should contact your financial aid office and ask.
