Do you have to attend every semester in order to keep recieving cal grant?

I have cal grant b and someone told me you have to attend semesters a year, including summer, in order to keep recieving a cal grant. I’m asking because I have to sign up for summer classes soon and Its a two month semester so it doesn’t make sense to take a math class within a short amount of time. so i don’t want to attend summer if i don’t have too lol
