i am 39 weeks and my baby is not moving today. i lay in bed this morning and he didnt move when he normally does. that was 4hours ago. and still no movement at all. i gave him a poke and a prod and a few pushes but hes not moving. he was a little quiet yesterday but nothing at all today. does it sound lilke hes getting ready for labor?

See your midwife. The worry about it isn’t good for you or the baby at this stage and the midwife would rather you came in over nothing than didn’t come in if it is something.
Drink a cold drink and lay on ur left side abd if u still dont feel anymovement call the hospital and check
No this is a dangerous old wives take. Your baby should never stop moving call your doctor now or head to the er.
Movement does slow down before labour, but I’d still get this checked out. Better safe than sorry.
Eat something cold it’s said to make them move but if your still worried call you hospital or midwife
