My house sits on the bottom of a hill and everytime it rains the water stands inches along the back of the house and water comes in through the weep holes in the brick. I was wondering if it is safe to install a flexible currugated pipe along the back side of the foundation. I am very familiar on how to install these but didn’t know if there was any guildlines on how far to stay from the foundation. I plan on being about inches away from the foundation. Any help would be appreciated.

It’s best that you contact your local regional building department for advice.
Most likely, you’ll need to install a leaching system ‘ – ‘ out from the side your house. The leach field will need to be deep enough so it won’t alter the footer and/or foundation.
