im going to a community college and im not sure what i want my major to be! can i get an associates degree in general studies without declaring a major or do i need to pick a degree like associates degree in science? can i just get a degree in general studies with out having to a department to go into
Please help im really stuck on this and dont want to waste money when going to school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do not major or declare a major at a CC. IF you plan on transferring to a year college, getting an Associate degree in general studies is what you are suppose to do
It depends on the policies of your community college and your career goals. Usually students who earn associate’s degrees in general studies plan to complete a bachelor’s degree at a four year college and use the associate’s degree classes to satisfy general education requirements.
