  • Medical school is a graduate professional school offering the MD degree, and requiring minimum of a bachelor’s degree to apply, in a number of countries. Most of them do not accept any foreign students. For lesser degrees such as mbbs (bachelor’s of medicine, bachelor’s of surgery) do not expect to find any which accept transfer students, especially foreign transfer students. The systems of education are too different. Besides, you are going to have to practice in your country of citizenship, and to pass your country’s exams for admission to practice medicine, you’d better go to school in your country of citizenship to get what’s needed for your country’s exams.

Except for some very poor so-called “third world” countries, most countries are graduating enough doctors for their needs and chances of eventually getting work as a doctor in a foreign country are poor. You’d really need to be an exceptional innovator in the field of medicine to have much chance of going overseas to work – if you ever met that country’s medical standards to begin with. Very, very few ever do.
