The design sounds cute but I think almond, round and oval nails shapes are very dated. The only women I see with those shapes are older ladies who wore them back years ago when they were popular and refused to change. Seems like they are always or older. Square is a much more youthful appearance.
I do crazy stuff with my nails all the time and never get anything but compliments on them! Go for it! Personally, I think it would look better with dark pink than red, though. And as far as it being bad for them, that’s the beauty of hair and nails! They grow back.

No, you shouldn’t get them. Personally, living as close to the “ghotto” as I do, I judge people with outrageous nails like that. It generally comes off as tacky.
