Animal lesson plans for a 2 year old with a fine motor difficulty?

doing a lesson plan for working with a group of to and a half year olds, this months themes is animals and i want to help improve the fine motor skills

Tracing pictures/letters is excellent practice of fine motor skills, even just coloring is fine motor skills as long as you teach them to hold the crayons between their pointer & forefinger instead of fisting the crayon and scribbling.

get some rubber animals–hide them in playdough….they have to dig it out of the playdough and identify the animal….this can also be done with dry rice
