I’m thinking about getting a moped next year (my birthday is January) and I would like to know what good mopeds are out there and about how much the moped training thing will cost and what it is like on insurance/tax and petrol thank you 😀

  • Anything made by Honda will last you for years and be reliable. CBT Training is around £90-&120 and lasts for two years. Tax is £17 for a year, insurance is entirely dependent on your circumstances, 80-1 MPG is the norm for a four-stroke 125cc “step-thru”.

    Avoid so-called sports mopeds and anything Chinese. Italian bikes are more reliable nowadays but are overpriced.
