  • I live pretty simply and receive some hand-me-downs so I probably spend less than most.

$30 will buy 2 boxes of Parent’s Choices diapers which is more than enough for a month now that my baby is 12 months.

I breastfeed so had little formula costs. I did supplement occassionally because I didn’t pump and spend around $14 per month on formula but usually threw away unused formula after the can had been opened a month. I mostly made my own purees during his baby food stage from 6-9 months. I probably spend $10-20 per month on extra fruits and veggies or jarred foods before he went on table foods.

Toys are mostly gifts and hand-me-downs, but I buy some occassionally. I’m sure my average is less than $10 per month.

I have a very large baby so he has needed a lot of clothes but we have been fortunate to get a fair amount passed on to us plus I had saved a few from his 12 year old brother. I probably average around $15 per month on clothes.

  • Formula- $50

    Diapers- $60-75

    Daycare- $10

    Clothing/toys/etc- $25

Medical- $40 (we probably had 1 co pay a month per child for the first year, on average)

  • Baby:

Food: We have WIC so nothing

Toys: They don’t need new toys every month but if we averaged the toys they had up to 6mos I would say about 20 a month. But we got a lot as gifts.

Diapers: We use LUVS so with one in diapers it was about 50 a month.

So on total, I would say about 75 a month.

But if not for WIC add a couple hundred to that for formula.

    Toddler:

Food: Also on WIC. Even without WIC we wouldn’t spend much extra because they just eat what we eat.

Toys: They got plenty for birthday/holidays

    Diapers: same cost.

If you make 33,0 or less a year then apply for WIC. It is really helpful.

If after a yr you’ve obtained 7,2 kilos, then you’ll be able to be in a greater shape for having a baby. Additionally, remember that you may now not be ready to work on the finish of your being pregnant and for a couple of months after the little one is born, so saving now will support you financially while you supply start. Additional, when you discontinue attempting for awhile and as a substitute show your associate that you’re inclined to earn cash and save money, he may just feeling better about having a little one. He’ll consider that you are not counting on him to do the whole lot. Which you can additionally pricing matters now and saving for them. Discover the cost of diapers. Did you know that the common youngster goes by way of four,9 diapers? Work out how a lot to be able to cost. Then work out all of the different costs, too.

  • It varies but i guess on average i spend about probably about 140 on formula. 60 or 70 on diapers. and maybe 1 on clothes and toys ( thats on a generous month) clothes and toys are bought more gradually so its not really based on a monthly budget. my son is 4 months so hes not on baby food yet. when he is old enough for it food will probably be cheaper cause formula is expensive.
