Beautiful women intimidating?

I know men find beautiful women intimidating, but do women find beautiful women intimidating also? Would women pursue a relationship with a beautiful woman?

I know really handsome men are actively pursued by gay men, so alot of good looking men are gay before women even have a chance, but this is not so with women.

I met a girl once, she was 21 years old and her name was Amy. I thought she was so beautiful, I couldn’t even talk to her, let alone be friends with her.

What do you think?

Update:

If a woman is beautiful would it be harder for her to be in a lesbian relationship because she is so intimidating?

  • No, not necessarily. The most beautiful women I know physically are marvels of God’s design: their teeth and eyes are bright white, their hair and skin shines. They laugh and love flowers and jokes and having fun.

When I run into a Pamela Anderson or Snooki type, I’m not intimidated, I’m usually repelled: I know there can’t be anything there but silicone, hours in the bathroom putting on make-up, an almost pathological need for money and validation, and a trenchant emptiness and shallowness that makes me pity the dumb hormonal boys that are turned on by the slatterns.

A genuinely beautiful woman is always gracious. My Mother and Father met Elizabeth Taylor at a cocktail party in Middleburg, Virginia, in the mid-70s when she was married to John Warner. Mom said that La Taylor looked divine and was being introduced to all sorts of people whom she’d never see again. Mom explained when it was her turn to be introduced, ET looked her in the eye and acted as if Mom was the most interesting person she met, even though she was one of millions. That’s beauty combined with class….nearly extinct in the world, and utterly missing in action in Amis under the age of 30.

  • Yes, I begin to think that I’m not good enough and instantly freeze, not even considering talking to a beautiful woman. It’s all a self esteem thing. I’m getting better at it though.

  • Yes! sometimes I’m not sure how to approach them since they probably get hit on all the time by all kinds of people

  • People find me very intimidating, so do the math 🙂
