I had an idea to make a triple layered devil’s food cake with a thick fudge icing in the middle. then id pour dark chocolate ganache over the top…but how should i decorate it? i thought about a gold or dark red ribbon around the side when it cooled, possibly freeze it a little. i have a recipe to make chocolate clay can could put a few roses and then finish the top with a white cream cheese vine pattern? anything other ideas? maybe decorate it an entirely different way or different cake?
