  • No. Having a disability has nothing to do with it. She needs a license and she has to report her income to Social Security. She is risking losing her benefits possibly.

  • Yes, she can be fined for not operating her business within the law

    1) if she is doing this out of her home, she needs to find out if it is okay to do business in a residential area

    2) whatever licenses are required by city, county, state must be in place… disabled or not

    3) earnings need to be reported to Social Security (if she is on SSI or SSDI)

the fines for violating #1 & #2 without proper licenses are much higher than the licenses themselves

the problems for violating #3 are extraordinary (if she is on Social Security) and can lead to repayment of benefits received as well as fraud charges & unable to receive SSI/SSD due to frauding

Much better to be up-front about it & not under the table

  • Anyone who runs a business needs to file the paperwork to do so, whether they are doing business as a DBA or LLC or corporation. I think her disability is reduced one dollar for every two dollars she makes, at least that is how it used to be.

As for being licensed as a psychic, do not think that happens.

  • If anyone is dumb enough to go to a licensed or un- licensed psychic they deserve to lose there money. This is not a practice it’s another word for SCAM.

  • Some people just love to get ripped off If their dumb enough to believe the BS let them get ripped off.

Chayzz Devyant, appears you believe the bs.

  • No they can’t. If she makes more than 10 on that she needs to be reported!
