Can i take my bike registered in nepal permanently to india?

I am Indian and staying at kathmandu and had taken a bike in my company’s name. It is for my personal use. The reason for taking it in company’s name, is that i dont want to get into taking permissions from indian embassy and also taking in company’s name meant i got very much savings on VAT refund. Now i am getting back to India and need to take the bike permanently to india. Is it possible? If so kindly advice what would be the procedure?

If you are taking it permanently, you will need to register it accordingly, and pay the fees. Hey it’s a bike after all, it’s worth it just to move through traffic more easily. go talk with you local office and they can let you know just how much it will cost, and provide all the paperwork, procedures.
