Semi-new to bike service and maintenance. I am looking to upgrade my current crank set and bottom bracket on my Trek Soho S. I know the Omnium is advertised for track bikes and fixies, but could it be used on a single speed?

Check the hole in the crank to see if it’s the old square taper or the new fitting, once you match your hole it should no bother as have swapped geared to single with no problems.

when would ”advertising” ever be misleading?
