i know you can get money recycling cans but is there anywhere to do this with plastic water or soda bottles? thanks!

If you live in any of about eleven states in the USA that require a deposit and have a system for the redemption of said bottles, you can make a few cents for each bottle. Sometimes stores that charge the deposit will redeem them when you bring them back. In other states the stores may not redeem the bottles, in which case you have to find a redemption center and take the clean empties there.
