I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 for OS X and in the Help files, it tells you exactly how to work with GIF files.
And, editing photographs is what Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, and 11, was designed to do.
So, before you buy it, ask if APE 11 supports GIF editing, too. I’m sure that it does.
