My mom always says the earlier the better.
My 2 yr old goes to bed at 730pm and I think that should the time most children under 7 should go to bed, Maybe 8pm after that until they are 11 or 12. Its the hours before midnight that count for your growing! (so I have heard!)
It really doesn’t matter what “time” a child goes to bed. It’s the amount of sleep they are getting that matters. For instance, I have to get my daughter up at 5:30 AM and bring her to daycare because I work early, so she goes to bed at 7: PM. But if I had a job that I didn’t have to be to until 2 hours later I would put her to bed at 9:. A toddler should get about 12-14 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. My daughter takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.
