This is my partners and I’s first month of TTC. I brought the clearblue ovulation tests which have the smiley faces, that pick up four fertile days.
Basically I started taking them a little early on the 9th day (alot of cm) and got 2 empty smileys (low fertility) and then on the third day I took one in the morning which was low again. When I took it again in the evening it was then flashing smiley (high fertility).
I got flashing smileys like this twice a day for three days and the forth in the morning. I was really hoping for a solid smiley by the afternoon, however when I took it I was at low fertility again. I thought I would wait till the morning and test again, but its still that sad, empty smiley.
I was just wondering what has happened? I have been BD every day for the last week and now worried that I am not ovulating or cannot conceive this month? What are the chances and has anyone else had this problems before?

Update:
Just to update, I have just done another test and have received a flashing smiley again – after getting a negative at 6pm yesterday and 9am this morning – flashing smiley at 5pm today. Really quite confused! I did have some problems with the sticks yesterday as they had an error twice before my negatives? But surely I cant have 5 days of flashing smileys?

its very possible to have missed your peak since LH can peak surge and deminish I would assume u ovulated sometime during your flashy smiles. I would recommend you to join cafemom.com’s ttc
