  • Check the connections on the hard drive and if it there all working then install an os.

  • I built my own computer from scratch. When I had no data on my hard drive, it said this because it did not have an operating system installed. This means the shop has given you a completely new hard drive. You can call them up to make sure they still have your old hard drive, or if it’s still in your computer. You’ll also need to ask them if they can install the operating system for you, or you can do it yourself. Problem is that a new operating system will cost you about $1 unless they can restore the old operating system from your old hard drive onto the new one. If you don’t know what a hard drive is, it is a little storage device where all of your files are saved to.

  • Do you have a operating system installed or is this new? Either way i would open the case and make sure all the SATA and power cables are plugged in to the hard drives. Just for trouble shooting of your own.

  • Possibilities:

-misconfiguration in the BIOS Boot Sequence

-Bad hard drive(try to reseat it, if this might help)

-No OS on the Hard drive
