Did any of you fall pregnant again within 3 months of giving birth?

Why? How? …where, what ,when? 😉 lol

Was it planned or not? Would you do it over and wait?

I know docs say to wait a year..but for my first 2, I would like to have them back to back. I will be 30 when I graduate with my degree..and that is old already to be having your first child. I want three..that’s my reasoning.

  • my friend was pregnant twice at her 6 week checkup after baby.she has a 7,8,9 year old.

then she got her tubes tied. haha.

  • 30 isn’t old, darlin’. I was 30 when my daughter was born. You could very easily have your first at 30, your second and 32 and your third at 35, and still be young and vibrant. (I remember 35 ….. dimly …. )

The other thing to realize is that, aside from the strain on your body, you probably won’t be able to get pregnant again that soon. If you are breastfeeding (and I hope you will — it’s best for baby AND you), you probably won’t ovulate until 6-12 months, maybe more, after giving birth. Your body is sensible enough to know that closely spaced pregnancies are hard on you.

(Some might tell you that you’re ‘super-fertile’ after giving birth, but this is not true for nursing moms, and probably not true for anyone. Most non-nursing moms just return to their ‘normal’ fertility within a couple of months. And a normally fertile woman DOES have a fairly good chance of getting pregnant in any cycle she has unprotected sex.)

  • its really not a good idea to wait less than a year because u could put yourself at risk for blood clots or bleeding that can be FATAL you need to give your body time to heal before putting it through another pregnancy, and im sure that u will be busy enough caring for one infant
