Did anyone have cramps early in your pregnancy?

Did you have cramps around the time your period was due? I’m having cramps, but they don’t really feel like PMS cramps. Thanks!

  • Yes it is normal to feel cramping around the time of your expected period and weeks after during pregnancy. The reason is the baby is burrowing in your uterus and can sometimes make it contract (cramps) and also as the baby grows, the uterus stretches and gives you a cramping sensation.. However if the cramps have you doubled over and crying with pain and heavy bleeding, then rush to the hospital.

  • I never had any cramps when my period was due. I had weird twinges and things for a few weeks but never any cramps. If you don’t get your period you may want to check with your doctor to make sure nothing is wrong. Good luck!

  • yup… I had cramps all throughout my pregnancy but especially in the first few months. Its caused by your uterus growing. However, if they are really severe, you should get checked out by your doc.
