Just in case the doctor was wrong? Or did you just trust what gender the doctor told you?

No babies yet. However, when we do start trying we plan on keeping the gender a surprise until the big birth day. We will have our top 2 names for a boy and a girl and then choose.

Just think about this. My parents thought they were expecting a baby boy until the very last ultrasound, a few months before I was born. Instead of their regular doctor, the doctor’s wife did the ultrasound. You can’t believe how pissed my dad was when she said “You’re going to have a big baby girl!”, and they argued for a while, arguing whether it was a penis or vagina. Turned out to be a girl in the end. So they had another baby shower and just enough time to get a girl name.
Moral of the story- Doctors can be wrong, no matter their years of experience. Pick one of both. If anything, you’ll be prepared.

It was very obvious I was having a boy. He had no shame. LOL! But even before I was 14 weeks we had picked out a name for a girl and a name for a boy

My Brother did because they waited until the baby was born to know the gender

We picked a boy’s and a girl’s name , at six weeks, so it was before anyone could tell what sex the baby was. At my 20 week scan, I said I did not want to know the sex.

yes i did both. its always fun to tell your child when they are a teen what their name wouldve been if they were the opposite gender. like mine (Tiffany Ann) wouldve been Travis Randall if i had been a boy my daughter wouldve been Landon Mathew if she was a boy and my son wouldve been Evelynn Ann if he had been a girl.
