If it’s not been too long since you got your eyeglass prescription, you might be able to get a better deal by returning there for them to give you the separate prescription. You’ll get a trial pair. If they don’t work, they’ll let you have others until you find the one that works for you.
Get a copy of the contact lens prescription from wherever you get the exam so you can try and buy lenses anywhere you want after you get the trial pair (in case you can find the same ones less expensive elsewhere).
While eyeglass and contact lenses use the same prescription, you will need a separate exam for contacts if the optometrist did not do the exam based on contacts. They will need to be fitted by the optician and you will receive a trial pair. Some people cannot tolerate contacts and could cause eye damage.
