Do mouses lay eggs (If so, how many per year)?

If yes, how many eggs would an average mouse lay per year? And, does it depend on types of mouses, because I know some (at least hamsters) are smaller and have probably less (like Russian hamsters)
Thanks

Mouses only lay one egg over their lifetime. Mouses of any kind only lay one egg.
