  • Yes , poison bait is stored in different locations and is often uneaten. I have see this happen many times with mice, rats and pack rats. They remove the food/bait and cash it. When you find the empty container you think that you have killed off these critters when in fact nothing has happened.

  • Yeah , they can move it so that it ends up posioning endangered wildlife and birds, and even children. Putting poisons out into the ecosystem is NEVER a good thing. Also, if a hawk or other predator eats it, it could also be poisoned and die.
