Doesn’t it make sense for the older religions to be more venerated?

Like the eastern religions opposed to the relatively young judeo-christian philosophies? Im sure im coming off as a heretic to the percentage of christians that read this but what do you think? Its seems logical but the majority of people on this earth ARENT logical.

    Every religion should be respected.

“Venerated,” however, is whole other concept. It implies a value judgement, i.e., saying an older religion is better than a younger religion.

If the worship of trees, sun, moon and cows is considered more venerable because they pre date Christianity . . no it does not make sense.

In fact, the Bible even describes how the much acclaimed Catholic Church’s claim as ‘The first Church’. because of their ties to Peter actually identify it as an apostate organization. !!

Acts 20: 29 & 30 . . .  I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among YOU and will not treat the flock with tenderness, 30 and from among YOU yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves . . . .

So, soon after the death of the last Apostles, there was to be a time of false teaching . . and that is the time the Catholics hold to as proof they are directly from Apostolic times. (a bit embarrassing ).

A clean Christian organization would appear and get Gods blessing during the ‘time of the end’. . and they could be identified when they fulfill Matthew 24:14 . .to preach and teach and make disciples of people of all nations . .and then the end will come.
