  • In the USA, anyone who drives an insured car with the owners permission and has a valid drivers license will (with very rare exceptions) be covered by whatever insurance that has been placed on that car.

Don’t you agree, though, that it would be best to ask your girlfriends Mom’s insurance company if you are covered or not?

  • unless her mom has given you permission to drive their car. and they have full coverage on their insurance. you will not be covered if you get into an accident.

so it is wise to stop driving their car.

  • no, you aren’t. she needs to list you as a driver of her car on her insurance for you to be covered.

  • If you’re not named on the policy, you’re NOT insured

  • She said you are NOT covered, and revoked your permission to driver her car. Sorry.
