  • 1. It is possible that the continental plate was once under an ocean! There are quite a few examples of finding known marine animals in places that are dry currently at the present, which basically tells us that there used to be water in places it isn’t in anymore.

    2. The sun’s uneven currents cause winds, which can also cause surface currents. Another thing you could say is how since the sun unevenly heats the earth and there are cold poles and warm equator that creates the thermohaline currents, but I think that may be stretching it.
