I’m looking for something like the Night Angel trilogy. Some thing set in mediaeval times, with wars and magic, with a modern style of writting. I’m if that helps. Not really interested in books like Eragon, Twilight series, golden compass/northen lights sequals. I’ve read: HP, Dune.

– The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It’s about a reality TV show where two people from each state, called ‘tributes,’ must go on this TV show and are made to kill the each other until one survivor is left. They are not allowed to bring anything with them, and must make weapons by themselves out of the tress, rocks etc. They must learn to hide from others, camouflage themselves, hunt wild animals for food and kill the other people. The problem is, a main character, Peeter, is in love with one of the other girls who has been picked for the hunger games, and he does not want to kill her – he is madly in love with her, but she doesn’t know it. It’s an extremely gripping novel, and you see how people turn on each other for survival, and how they hide (they even climb trees and sleep in the branches to be away from other enemies). You might like “The Last Kingdom” by Bernard Cornwell. Vikings invade England in the th century.
“Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon is great.
And “Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc” by Mark Twain is good.
“The Light of Enci” you can order it at Barnes and Noble i own copy and i must say it it’s amazing, only pages but it will sweep you away into an amazing fantasy world like you’ve never seen before one of my friends recommended it to me and i have loved it ever sense you must read this book! It is one of my favorite books right here next to the Twilight series and terry brooks Shannara series

I’ve always adored to read. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t also enjoy TV. Throughout the day it is generally a publication.

Try ‘Wings’ by Aprilynne Pike. I don;t want to give too much away, but it’s a great modern-day fantasy with wars and magic. Enjoy!
i know it might seem kiddish but the magyk series are quite a good long read yes they spell it magyk
