I need a christmas gift idea for my Dad. He loves Fly Fishing and making the actual flies so I was thinking along those lines, anyone have any ideas?

If he enjoys tying flies then a nice vice would be a good choice. Maybe some books or a subscription to a magazine about fly tying. You might also consider getting him some materials for tying.
If you want to go all out you could get him a guided trip to Alaska for salmon or Costa Rica for tarpoon and snook. This will guaranty he will put you in his will. LOL
