Ovary is present in all the angiospermic plants. It contains the ovules which has the egg cell inside. After fertilization the ovary becomes a fruit, ovules become seed, egg cell turns to zygote after the fusion of male gamete and eventually the embryo. Ovary’s main function is to protect the ovules inside and after seed formation make a fruit as an attraction for effective seed dispersal.

The ovary is the expanded inferior part of the carpel. It contains the ovules waiting to be fertilized by pollen.
The function of an ovary is to hold egg cells in a flower to use when beginning the reproductive cycle. 🙂 🙂
Same as animala functionally.
Produces egg that is fertilized to form seed and it later also becomes the fruit.
