hard cover or paper back?

Parents of young children or who had small children, I need your advice. do you and your children prefer hardcover or paper back books? and if they do prefer hard cover are you okay with spending more? or would you rather buy paper back if it meant a smaller amount? thank you all for your time!

  • We prefer hard covers in general. Favorite titles are purchased as hard covers when ever possible. To keep costs down, we buy most of our books at used book stores (but would do this for hard cover or paperback).

That said, paperbacks serve another, important purpose. Portability. Try stuffing a couple of hard covers in your backpack along with text books and notebooks and see how far you get (especially if you weigh <70 pounds).

  • i like paperbacks, yet Hardcovers seem lots nicer. Paperbacks are cooler and greater cheap. additionally, whilst a paperback has cracks up the backbone and the pages seem worn, I take that as an illustration of it being a solid e book that a great style of folk have enjoyed. that would not take place with hadcovers…
