Help Please!!! (how to make a chart)?

I don’t know how to make a pie chart and I need to make one,
I have microsoft excel 2003,
could someone please help?!

  • Go to View, then from the drop down menu click on toolbars, then click on the chart option, then click on the chart type icon that is defaulted, and that should bring you to many pictures (icons). You will see a pie. Click on that. That is how you choose a pie chart type. You might have to select the data on the excel worksheet first, though, before your choose the pie chart type. If the data is selected first, the program will automatically create a chart for that particular data. However, if nothing is selected, it probably will put the whole worksheet page into the pie chart. It depends on what you want.

    Play around with it, and it will come together. Computer researchers use normal cognitive functions as the way to develop a program. You can never go wrong with just playing around with the software. Your brain learns it that way, also.
