Help with pizza box solar oven cooker?

8th grade doing a solar oven. My teacher is really leaving us out to dry on this project, not that I blame her. My teacher didn’t specify we had to use a pizza box,but like I said she leaving us out to dry. I figured with all the reading I have been doing that pizza boxes would work great. First off do you have any good sources for me? I searched the Web but I’m more of a visual person(who’s tired) meaning that I wasn’t really feeling reading all those words to figure out which model should I do my project off. I already have two boxes. One small and one medium-I think. I ordered one and kept it and just asked for the other one at my local pizza hut. At first like 30 mins ago I saw medium pizza boxes will work, since you don’t want it too small. Now I’m, hearing the bigger the better. Which is confusing since my teacher is emphasizing the less material to heat up the better. Considering I only got to Wednesday I’m freaking out. Which box should I go with? If you have any sources, please share. Any help appreciated, supplies have to be in the class,by Wednesday. Sorry for grammar and any spelling,I’m on a touch screen phone.

  • Just look on Google images and you’ll get the idea of how a “Pizza Box Solar Oven” works.

Make sure you eat the pizza first.

  • The larger an area you can collect sunlight from, the better, but the smaller the item you are heating the quicker it will heat.
