I am getting 3 small sized hermit crabs soon and I have got some questions. ( I have done a lot of research and I know what I am doing, but the questions I am asking I haven’t seen the answers for them)
1. I am getting a glass tank (61 cm long , 31 cm wide , 38 cm tall) the glass lid does not have any air holes, is that bad? apparently it can cause mold. Could I just let the tank air out a bit during the day by taking the lid off for around 30 mins? ( I will watch my crabs so they won’t escape)
2. If hermit crabs do need air holes in the lid, does anyone know some ideas of how to make some?

It does need air holes, just cut out small ones from the lid.
