i am 18 and have a have a 13 year old sister.. our mother and step father are both alcoholics and are always intimidating us against our brother who is twenty one. it has been this way for the past 2 years, i have been kicked out twice but the second time my step father tried to hit me, i recently moved back in and it all happened again, i just wanted to know, for my own sisters safety whether i could take her on and look after her on my own. We don’t get to pick our parents, and we have no idea what is going on in their heads…. but I can tell you one thing… don’t get pregnant. And if you are going to become sexually active, see Planned Parenthood, and get on bc pills for free. They won’t even call your home.
When you have babies you don’t want, you do nutty things—like drugs, marry the wrong people, are abusive, and all the stuff you are going thru now.
