Seducing people is not as modern as you may think. Some say that it was actually Bram Stoker himself that brought the whole idea of the sexy vampire to popularity. Apparently, Dracula was quite seductive and sexy like that as well.
Vampires are not just all about sucking blood and attacking and killing people. Many of the traditional vampires have loads of other traits as well as this. Some are more sexy, some are terrifying, some are good and kind (such as the Stregoni Benefici of Italian legends and mythology), some are just plain evil and others are just truly unbelievable.
