I am just trying to do the right thing. How long should I screw around trying to cancel a YouTube channel subscription from my legacy (non-Google) YouTube account that I do not have the password for, before I simply block emails from “YouTube” <[email protected]>?
No good deed goes unpunished.

Aaron: Thank you, but I tried that. Password recovery doesn’t work on ‘legacy’ accounts, only on Google accounts.

If you know your username, then type it in without your passowrd and hit enter. Then click on forgot password. You will get your password back and then click on the channel that you have subscribed to and click on the button that says subscribed on it.
