Simply put, people postulate life arose via abiogenesis – which is basically the scientific term for saying life came from non-living things. In early earth, a bunch of molecules randomly arranged itself to form the first cell. Because the conditions on primitive Earth were different from how it is today, it allowed for life to spontaneously generate like this. This is why you would not be able to do something like that today.

These first cells were capable of simple metabolism and reproduction. After several generations, these cells mutated to become more and more complex and the cells that were fit for survival continue to live today, whereas those that could not handle environmental pressures died.

Personally though, I question how those molecules got there in the first place? How was earth created? and a whole tangent of other questions. So, the existence of God is the simplest thing that explains everything.

  • x boson

  • Big Bang theory then god created us all then humans kept reproducing and evolving and here we are today

  • Life didn’t occur out of no where, evolution happened and The Big Bang.

  • an asteroid impact seeded the planet with life…

which is likely common throughout the universe
