How do I cure the lovesickness that’s affecting my body?

I really like this guy. We aren’t dating, but every time I see him, or think about him, I get crazy butterflies.
The butterflies make me feel sick, so I don’t eat breakfast, and I hardly eat lunch.
Is there a way to cure these butterflies? I’ve unintentionally lost 5 lbs in about 2 months, and I’m always cold. And tired, because we talk into the early hours of the morning…
He mentioned he did like me, but not a lot. Not because I’m not me, but because of other complications (he has a terminal illness and doesn’t want to hurt anyone).
ANYWAY: Cure for the butterflies? To I take up the courage to ask him out? Or try to see if I get over him? (might not be likely)

Having butterflies is a normal part of learning to love. Its simply a part of being human. Take care of yourself otherwise by eating appropriately even if you don’t feel like it, and you’ll be fine.

If you’re still feeling weak, first make sure you’re getting enough sleep. If you still feel weak, see a health professional.

If he’s worth it, pursue a relationship with him. Let him know that pushing you away would hurt you now, and you want to spend time with him despite his problems.
